If solid belief in what the Constitution actually says and adherence to those values,with an understanding that other nations are sovereign and interference from us exceptional Americans is wrong taints and marginalizes the Libertarian Party then I'll take ALL the taint I can get. The only hope that America comes out of this next election looking anything like the great nation it once was rests solely with Ron Paul. Yes he is not a war monger,but the last time I looked it was called the Dept. of Defense. Defense, try looking it up ,you would be amazed at what it really means.

Dan Maes, initially supported by conservatives, was proven to be a fucking liar. Sadly, it was after he won the nomination. Tom Tancredo said either drop the fuck out or he would enter the race. Maes didn't, his campaign took a dirt nap and in the end, he garnered 5% of the vote.

Take a fucking guess how much Tancredo lost by? Hickenlooper, a far left candidate, won by 5%-hardly, "handily"

We had a chance here in CO to elect a real conservative with 100% bona fides especially on illegal immigration. Do I have to tell you about Tom Tancredo? A principled conservative who made a term limit pledge and STUCK TO IT. Versus a POS like Dan Maes? Give Me A Fucking Break.

Trying to turn this into some kind of establishment v Tea Party fight is bull. Dan Maes lied, pure and simple, to get Tea Party support. It completely dried up as more and more of his lies were exposed. Lies, BTW, the Post knew about and suppressed until after he secured the nomination. He was a GD flake and for this person to assert once this became wide spread knowledge, conservatives continued to support him is a GD lie.

BTW, we also ran Ken Buck who barely lost to probably the dimmest possible candidate, Michael Bennet, by less than 1%. 1GD%!!! Did the lies spread by the Post hurt? Yep. Did smearing Buck with an out of context "cowboy boot" statement hurt? Yes again. How about the controversy that Dan Maes started and kept going throughout the campaign? FUCK YES, that hurt and we not only didn't get Tom but we lost a chance for a great conservative like Buck to be in the Senate.

I'm surprised at you Mike for posting this crap-I forgot how burned up I was at this at the time.
