Nuremburg-style trial for bin Laden? Obama-style timetable for withdrawal from Iraq?

Distinction without a difference.

Update! Maguire says it:

Well, running against an unpopular Congress is not a bad idea, but… John McCain is as likely as Obama to cut deals with Pelosi and Reid.

Yes, he is. And trouble is, when he does, weak-willed Repubs will get right in line like good little RINOs to kiss those Democrat rings. At least with Obama as President, it seems to me we might see some Republican Congressional spines stiffen a bit.

We’re going to have a liberal for our next President, no matter what. We badly need to repudiate the left-wing Democrats and their socialist agenda, sure. But we’re going to have to repudiate left-wing Republicans first, and yank them back rightward by the rings in their noses.

Updated update! In fairness to Juanny Mav, I should also note this context-providing post, also Maguire’s:

McCain has argued and still argues that a non-conditions based timetable will simply embolden the forces of division in Iraq, who would wait the USA out and then strike. But since he recently modified his rhetoric from “we are succeeding” to “we have succeeded”, the notion of some sort of withdrawal under some scenario is surely in his planning.

A splash of cold water in the face of presumptions of victory: our war against radical Islam won’t be truly won until we’ve dealt with Iran at least, a charter and still quite active member of what used to be known as the Axis of Evil. Too bad that perfectly accurate nomenclature has been abandoned — as has the very idea of doing anything about all about the bastards, seemingly. On the other other hand, this is somewhat encouraging.

Everyone is opposing time tables and I do not get it!

I fully support a time table of NOW for the complete withdrawal of all Liberals out of the State of Michigan and subsequently the other 56 states (Obama reference to his speech where he said there were 57 states intended).
