Onward, Lefty “soldiers”

September 21st, 2007

Lock the slimeball up, and may posterity forget he was ever my countryman:

A Washington man, whose claims to have slaughtered civilians as a U.S. Army Ranger in Iraq were seen by millions on YouTube, admitted in federal court in Seattle today that he was a fake and a liar.

Jesse Adam Macbeth, 23, pleaded guilty to charges he faked his war record.

“He was in the Army for 40 days before he was kicked out of boot camp for being unfit,” said U.S. Attorney Jeffrey C. Sullivan. “He was never in Iraq.”

AP makes a good point: this is nothing at all like “phony war hero syndrome.” Quite the opposite, in fact. And to steal a lick from him, exit question: why is it that oxygen thieves like this creep are the only “troops” the antiwarriors can seem to find it in their hearts to truly support?

Just a guess, but maybe it has something to do with the "peace" movement being staffed mainly by lying, stealing, America hating, communists?

Making a false claim of military service should be a capital offense. The punishment should be the firing squad, administered by Air Force recruits during their first (and only!) day on the firing range.

Now some say that subjecting even a vile creature such as Macbeth to such woeful accuracy during execution would be cruel and unusual. I say, "So what?" Given what he's dishonored, very few punishments could meet that criteria.
