Goose Creek – Police have detained two men after finding and detonating a suspicious item found in their car during a routine stop for a speeding violation on a highway near Charleston.
Sources say a four-door sedan was stopped during a routine traffic stop Saturday only to find what was believed to be a bomb inside the vehicle.
The two people in the car were said to be of Middle Eastern descent.
Berkeley County sheriff’s Lieutenant Vince Lombard says that the men were being held Sunday morning pending a charge of unlawful possession of an explosive device.
Most of the majors like WaPo who are reporting this story (if they are reporting it at all) have somehow managed not to mention that part about the bombers being of “Middle Eastern descent.”
Wouldn’t want to offend CAIR, would we? Or offend somebody who might bomb the hell out of your editorial offices, eh?
