Just another reason, as if any were needed, not to ever, ever buy a Chevy.

I never did much like that pudhead. Anybody that agonizes as much as he did over a friggin' stage name is taking himself waaay too seriously. And when you start talking about rock and roll as "art," you've abandoned rock and roll altogether, for something not nearly as worthwhile. Cougarcamp is a pretentious twit, plain and simple.

Damn if I didn't, TLB. I stand corrected. Although I don't think we have to worry much about anyone mistaking the dimbulb for anything else.

My first thought is echoed with the HotAir comments. He has every right to his opinion, but WHY do we ask? Who cares? Celebrities are pretty or talented (or on American Idol), but why do we think they have something to share on these issues?

People like Bono tend to prove their interest with deeds and money over time, in which case it would make more sense to inquire as to more than just music, but it's like asking Brittany Spears what she thinks about Bush. Are we even sure she knows his name?

The words Brittany Spears and bush are words I try to keep out of my head...thank you very much.

Mike. I've always hated that bastard, partly because that "Jack & Diane" thing was fake 'woe is me, marriage and real life sucks' angst bullshit, but especially since his moronic, vindictive, anti-middle class anthem "Pink Houses." He doesn't hate America, he just hates how it is, this suckass country...

My pet name for him? For around 20 years, it's been Johnnymellon Cougarcamp. It was about the most ridiculous reshuffling of his names that I could manage. But how didja know? Great minds...

I've been calling him John Kooky Melonhead for years. I can't figure out why he did those lame Chebby commercials, except that I'm sure it was a whole "solidarity with the union working man" thing going on. My last Chebby was a 71 Blazer that cost me more in repairs than it did to buy.

Guess that's why I drive a (made in USA) Toyota.
