As Al’s post below reminds me, I’ve been sadly remiss in not linking the fine journalistic efforts of Michael Yon, Michael Totten, Bill Roggio, Bill Ardolino, and of course Malkin and Bryan Preston more often. Consider this post a small step towards remedying that. Go forth and scroll, y’all. For you liberal-media types, this is what journalism is supposed to look like, as opposed to the piss-weak propaganda swill you miscreants are filing from the rear, or perhaps worse, buying from local Islamist terrorists and their supporters stringers.
