Frank J.–Nothin’ But Trouble!

December 15th, 2006

Rightwing Howler made the simple error of quoting Frank J.–and the anti-free-speech islamofascists at CAIR shut him down:

TAMPA, Fla., Dec. 14 /U.S. Newswire/ — The Tampa, Fla., office of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Tampa) is calling on an Internet web hosting company in that state to drop a hate site that supports calls to “kill all Muslim kids.”

Under the headline, “Love Your Kids? Fear For Their Future? Kill All Muslim Kids,” the Web site’s owner, who lives in the Tampa area, wrote: “Makes sense to me. After all, if Muslims are raising their little crumb- snatching, curtain climbing, ankle biting rug rats to strap on bombs in order to kill us, it is logically correct to assume that in order to stop that from happening we need to kill all Muslim kids. Starting now.”

What the article doesn’t tell you is that Rightwing Howler was quoting (google cached) from a satirical post written by Frank J.:

Do you stay awake at night worry that your children will still have to be dealing with terrorists? I know I worry about my theoretical future children. They might want to fight terrorists because they think it’s cool and want to imitate SpongeBob, but terrorists are dangerous and I don’t want my children near them. Stupid children. As responsible parent and possible future parents, we have to make sure our children don’t have to deal with the terrorism that plagues us now. The only way to do that is to kill all the Arab kids.

It sounds evil and inflammatory on the surface, but anyone who has read Frank J. enough knows that he is a Satirical Samurai whose tongue-in-cheek humor is harmless. I don’t know if Rightwing Howler really believes the ideas in Frank J’s post…I doubt that he does…but I haven’t read his blog enough to know either way. I guess it’s best left up to interpretation.

However, I still think it’s blatantly wrong that his site was shut down. Especially by the likes of CAIR. I’ve yet to see them demand that islamic terror sites be shut down…but I guess to them, it’s ok to kill J00s and Americans, but not little arab babies…

Update! Rightwing Howler seems to have worked things out with his host provider…but he’s decided to give blogging a rest:

Well, folks, there was quite a brouhaha created over the suspension of my account.

Some people are all upset at Hostgator for shutting me down and have written them saying so and there are others who are in favor of them shutting me up.

Hostgator …. and I ………are stuck in the middle of this mess with them being inundated with thousands of emails for and against my blog.

Most of you will recall that back in November I posted about needing to take a break. What you don’t know is that the “break” was not working and that I truly am tired of this blogging thing.

I was going to drop the blog at the end of the year anyway and these events precipitated…and advanced….my scheduled quitting.

I’m sorry if I disappoint some of you and you may think I’ve been “forced” into this decision by Hostgator. Well, there can be nothing further from the truth.

The owner of Hostgator was kind enough to call me tonight and we discussed it in detail. He wanted to get a better understanding for what had transpired and in the course of the conversation I told him I was planning to quit blogging anyway so this could end up being a win-win for everyone. I can see his point and like many commenters at other blogs have said, the TOS are his company’s to define and if they think I violated them, then my only recourse is to find someone else. I will not be choosing that option.

Thank you all so much for having participated over the past year or so. Especially my guest bloggers. It was fun. It was real. And for me, in the past couple of months it had not been “real fun.”

See you all around the blogosphere. I’ll still be reading and when the urge hits, maybe even comment.

One more thing, please don’t be too critical of Hostgator. They’ve been a great web hosting service and were extremely helpful whenever I had issues to be dealt with to include backups and upgrades.

Put yourselves in their shoes, OK?

Good luck to you, Howler…CAIR, you can still kiss my furry ass.

Its sad to see that the moonbats at CAIR got him taken down in the first place and made his life so miserable that he decided to give blogging a rest. I hope he returns soon.
