This is what it sounds like, when a brain cell dies…

October 31st, 2006

Dear Senator Kerry:

Kiss my furry, monkey ass you elitist, treasonous piece of shit.

Sincerely,

Darth Monkeybone

If you haven’t heard already:

“You know, education, if you make the most of it, if you study hard and you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, uh, you, you can do well. If you don’t, you get stuck in Iraq.”

Michelle has much, much more

I won't try to defend Lurch (even if I wanted to, which I don't) but it sounds like Kerry was trying to be "funny" and imply that the person who "didn't study" and got "stuck in Iraq" was the president (i.e. it's the whole "W is a big dummy" meme, a tired staple of the left.)

But with his awkward and ham-handed delivery, he stepped on his crank in a way that, had the President said it, it would be on the front page of every newspaper in the country and be the lead story on every newscast.

Of course, since Kerry is a Dem I had to find out about it from the blogs.

Now when the dogpile starts, he'll backpeddle and try to say he was talking about the president, but as the old saying goes, explaining a joke is like dissecting a frog: The frog tends to die in the process.

I guess Nancy Pelosi was right when she said that if we vote the democrats back into power, the gavel will be in the hands of "America's Children."

    Excellent point, Martin.

Part of me, however, truly believes that Kerry looks at the Soldiers in Iraq as suckers. It's the same attitude he had in Vietnam. He's a fool that can't help but return to his folly.

    America's very special children.

Remember, Sithmonkey, there is nothing more important to John Kerry than John Kerry. Nothing. It's that narcissism that was on display that makes up the bulk of his charm.
