Now if we could find more moderate Muslims

Allahpundit’s been sort of promoting Kristin Powers as a stellar example of that most rara of avis*, a reasonable liberal, for quite some time now. Based on the first couple of links I followed via him — sorry, Him — after which I just kind of lost interest for a while, I was skeptical of that claim.

I was wrong to be.

    There may be a large number of moderate Muslims - who aren't opening their yaps because they are afraid of what the Islamists will do to them and theirs.

    They have to live with the Islamists, and if the West won't protect its own people, why would they think the West will help them with the Islamists?

    Yeah, let's flee the battlegrounds of the middle-east, let's give the Islamists one more victory to solidify their hold over everyone they're around.

    Let's confirm who is the strong horse and who is the weak horse. It's what the terrorists want us to do.

    Yes, alas the moderates are not terribly good at helping themselves either especially in the UK. Every time an arrest happens or a outrage prevent they show up on telly whigeing they are being victimised as "a religion". Their latest wheeze of comparing themselves to Jews in the late 1930s in continental Europe has bombed horrendously as well.
