Looks like the Left has hitched its broken-down wagon to another feeble flame-out, this time in the person of Glenn Greenwald and his several trusty sock-puppet identities. Quoth the Ace-man:

A: if he’s a Lyin’ Lefty, why yes. Yes, he would. But really, he’s way more likely to do the impugning himself, and use a fake name to hide behind while doing it. The douchebag denies it, but as Patterico says…well, read the comments to his post. They’re hilarious.

And Confederate Yankee piles on, speculating on the veracity of Honest Glenn’s laughable attempt at blaming the cabana boy, as some nameless someone close to me just so pithily put it.

Why, I wouldn't... Much.
Couldn't tell whether he was saying that each ID was used exclusively by a different person or if he was saying there was sock puppetry going on at his house but it was done by someone other than himself.
In either case, even if Glenn is as good as his word and hasn't been using sock puppets, the best he could say for himself is that he has organized his immediate family into a crack support team, which will beg the question anytime someone pops up to defend Glenn, of whether we are hearing from his brother, partner, or chow chow.
For that matter it will also make people legitimately wonder whether supporters from different IP addresses may in fact be Mom, Auntie, or Uncle Ned.
Either way you look at it, Glenn's defense is something only a (bad) lawyer would attempt to employ (with a straight face).
Based on his recent behavior, those emails from Glenn's fans were probably meant as praise.
