The clearly psychotic Lefty (yeah, I know, I repeat myself) “apologizes” — by putting on the traditional liberal victim’s hair shirt (worn by not-really-contrite liberals who have overstepped the bounds of human decency but still wish to be thought of as morally superior, sort of the converse of the phrase’s usual meaning), and offering up some nasty insinuations about the integrity of the man she so viciously attacked. Pathetic, and very nearly unbelievable…or would be, if it was anything at all atypical of these deranged moonbats. And I almost forgot to mention that you can’t access the link to PW above because of an ongoing DoS attack that’s had his site down for two days now. Gee, wonder if those famously open-minded, tolerant Lefties had anything to do with it…

Amazing. Liberal commenters on her blog are refusing to condemn her. You might think you’d see comments like this:

I am a leftist and disagree with Goldstein, but threatening a two-year-old child with violence is beyond despicable.

Instead, you have people clapping her on the back, like Liberal Avenger, who (with no hard evidence) concludes that she must be mentally ill, encourages her to unresign and talk to a mental health professional, and says:

Ignore the hypocritical wingnuts here who pretend as if what you did was some enormous crime against decency. It wasn’t.

There you have it. The face of the unhinged left, as clear as glass. According to Liberal Avenger, it is not an enormous crime against decency to threaten to shoot an innocent two-year-old child because you dislike his father’s politics.

Well, sure. These people are demented fanatics; politics is their religion, and disagreement with their rigid beliefs is to be treated as any other heresy has ever been by the community of the faithful. As Kos might say, they’re all about winning, and anything they have to do to keep their delusions safe and undisturbed is easily justified, up to and including threatening the children of E-ville™ Republicans. Expect more from them if you like, but you’re always going to wind up surprised and disappointed when you do.
