Who’s defending traitor scum Mary McCarthy? Why, a veritable rogue’s gallery of other traitor scum, of course. Allahpundit has a most excellent roundup here and here. And with that, we’re inaugurating an important new category: The Culture Of Treason, to deal not with just the generalized behavior of the Loony Left but with specific examples of Democrats and other Loons trying to undermine not just the WoT or the Bush admin, but our very system of government — and their revolting attempts to spin treason as “patriotism” and “dissent.” Regrettably, I anticipate no dearth of entries in this category.

    But don't question their patriotism. I mean, why bother? You'd need an electron microscope to find any trace, and do you know the cost of renting one of those?

    It would make an interesting federally funded microbiological study though and may well push the technology of electron microscopic imaging technology forward a quantum leap!
