Auf Wiedersehen

March 11th, 2006

Well, that’s one way to put an end to the whole Clinton-quagmire-sponsored, UN-managed fiasco:

Former Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic has died in the detention centre at The Hague tribunal.

The tribunal said he had been found dead in his cell on Saturday morning. The cause of death is not yet clear.

Mr Milosevic, 64, had been on trial at the UN war crimes tribunal for genocide and other war crimes since 2001.

The tribunal last month rejected a request by Mr Milosevic to go to Russia for medical treatment. He had high blood pressure and a heart condition.

The tribunal has ordered an inquiry into the death.

Seems straightforward enough, but who knows; there’s bound to be some angle, some whiff of corruption involving Kofi’s Keystone Kops here, one way or another. Beyond the scandal of the laugh-a-minute joke of a “trial” itself, I mean.

The cause of death is not yet clear.

The cause of death was a combination of 1)boredom, and 2)laughter. Milosevic didn't take Kofi's Klowns any more seriously than we do.

Too bad; I was looking forward to opening arguments.

Close the Brutal UN Prisons and Hague Death Camps Now!

Ramsey Clark is right; Saddam can't get a fair trial. Because a fair trial for Saddam would consist of an immediate public hanging. For 37 Starkies.

Starkies? Why, whatever could you be talking about there, Noel? I've forgotten, you see...

I'll believe the Democrats are qualified to be trusted with the defense of this nation the moment they begin to act as if such things matter to them -- instead of actively trying to cram them down the memory hole so as to pretend they don't.

The only good thing about death of Mr Milosevic is that the lawsuit of Bosnia and Herzegovina against Serbia&Montenegro is not so strong now!
There were ethnic cleansing on both sides! They all should be in Hague, I don't care for them, I just want to have a normal life!
