Is that a fat lady I hear warming up?
Murdering lush Ted Kennedy really ought to try harder to keep the moral outrage out of his voice when he attacks Sam Alito’s character, not least because it makes his jowls quiver unappealingly, and that looks just horrible on CSpan. But there are other reasons:
TED KENNEDY is deeply troubled by the ethics of the Supreme Court nominee. Between 2001 and 2006, Samuel Alito, who is currently an appeals court judge, accepted $7,684,423 in “donations” from special interests who perhaps wanted the law tweaked in their favour. That included $28,000 from defence contractors, $42,200 from drug firms and a whopping $745,373 from lawyers and law firms.
No, wait. Those are Senator Kennedy’s conflicts of interest — or, rather, a brief excerpt from a long list compiled by the Centre for Responsive Politics. The lapse for which the senator berated Mr Alito was considerably less clear-cut.
Well, it would be, wouldn’t it? After all, everybody who knows anything about Jabba the Senator (D-Ginmill) — even Democrats who can’t afford to admit it publicly — knows he has no moral standing whatever from which to wax judgmental of others.
Which, as one of the Democrats’ leading lights, has never stopped him from doing it, of course.
What makes all this so knee-slappingly funny, though, is that Kennedy and his Dem enablers know they’ve already lost this fight. Barring some truly bizarre occurrence, the next Supreme Court justice will be Samuel Alito whether they like it or not, and there’s not one damned thing these Lilliputian blowhards can do about it. Like the Left generally, they simply don’t have the numbers to enforce their will on the rest of us anymore, and are reduced to the indignity of tactics akin to threatening to hold their breaths until they turn blue to delay the inevitable. The Democrats are, now more than ever and more so every day, the Loser Party. And rightly so; disgruntled-minority status couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch of self-righteous assholes.

Are you either a multimillionaire white guy?
Or a completely delusional Christian?
If not, then these Republican pricks have screwed your future as much as they have the rest of America.
Except us rich white guys (yes, I am one). We've done great.
I'm a very modestly well off white guy, and I'm doing damnfino, thanks. Judging by the numbers of black folks moving into my neighborhood, it's not just us Caucasian types moving up in the world, either. Judging by the increase in other ethnicities in my clientele base, I'd say that damn near everyone is having a better day.
Except liberals, of course. The forecast for liberals is a 99% chance of continuing stupidity, with scattered loserstorms a definite possibility.
