Left side of blogosphere logs off; other ubiquitous whining mysteriously stilled

December 15th, 2005

Ordinary Iraqis today dealt out yet another defeat for the Left/terrorist/MSM/Baathist/Dem coalition — merely by going to the polls and voting in large numbers again. And boy, doesn’t the Axis of Pissants know it, too. Jeff has a good roundup of loser reaction, or the dazed, depressed silence substituting for one which seems to be the case more often than not (I maybe ought to admit here that I haven’t had a lot to say today myself, mostly because my internet connection is no better than intermittent because of weather-related problems; mercifully, we haven’t lost electricity yet, but we’re pretty likely to tonight). As per usual, here’s the spot for plenty of reportage on events, and you can try here too.

Jeff says he ain’t passing judgment on the dictator-fellating LLL bums, but I sure am. Congratulations to the Iraqi people for once again showing their mettle — and for once again proving that the soft bigotry of low expectations, combined with the eternal BDS-inspired doom and gloom which is the Left’s sad excuse for “support” for and solidarity with them, is, basically, all wet.

Sit back and suck on it, you wretched villains. Or, as some of you used to say but don’t seem able to muster up the gumption to anymore, Power to the People! The last word for now, from a free Iraqi:

Now it is the first hours of the 15 Dec 2005.

In few hours time Iraq will be the Model in Democracy and freedom for the Middle East and the Arab region.

Iraq will lead the changes.

Finally the totalitarian and the one dogma dominated region will end.

God make people free and no one should impose his thoughts to control the others.

Governments are not representing God on earth and should not be absolute power for life.

Iraq today will challenge the terrorism and will vote freely for a government which will stay for 4 years only.

The Iraqis today will show the world that they will vote for the Freedom, Democracy and Civilization. They will vote to say No for the terrorists.

The Iraqis already voted since yesterday to say Yes for Peace and regional and international stability and prosperity to all the nations and people with no exception but the terrorists.

God bless Iraq and its allies and friends.

Amen to that. And may the hinderers, thwarters, underminers, cowards, naysayers, and defeatists — along with the killers, would-be tyrants, and fanatics they’ve been either inadvertently or intentionally assisting — choke and retch forevermore on the poison of their own words.

And once again, a certain sorry excuse for a human being that normally has so much to say here in your comment section (about Iraq, no less!) seems to be mysteriously silent.

I love the silence of Leftards in the morning. Smells like...victory.

BTW, I can finally see the buttons here in the comments. Good job!

Hey...maybe this election, the leftards can take pics of themselves holding signs that read: "We're Sorry Iraquis, for opposing your liberation."

A damned fine idea, Darth. But of course they'll never go for it. As I've always maintained, being Left means never having to say, "I'm an idiot."

Every time an Iraqi votes, a leftist cries.
