On the ongoing Sandy Bergler saga, I have a question: when the Hambergler says he “inadvertently” swiped “about forty or fifty” classified documents in a clear violation of both ethics and the law by stuffing them into his socks, is he referring to forty or fifty pages, or forty or fifty documents, presumably comprised of multiple pages?
Either way, that seems to me to be an awful lot of dead tree to be hauling around in your socks. Especially without garters. But one can easily see how such a thing could happen “accidentally,” of course. If you’re a lyin’-ass Democrook looking to cover up an egregious crime, that is.
