Forecast: revolting

Triumphant fingerpointing from the Left at Bush for this monstrous barbarity to begin in 5…4…3…2….

Sincere and undiluted expressions of revulsion from the Left for the inarguably despicable nature of these terrorist scum to begin….? Best guess: not forthcoming.

Moral equivalence postulated between this and the events at Abu Ghraib: already taken care of for the Left by the bestial perpetrators themselves, for which one assumes the Left’s grateful thanks.

Unserious proposal put forth by VRWC member that for every time in future al Qaeda beheads one of ours we behead ten of theirs, publicly, quickly, and with extreme prejudice, followed immediately by the utter destruction of one (1) random Arab city: right now, right here, by me.

Satisfaction garnered from floating unserious proposal: disappointingly little.

Effectiveness of said proposal at halting this sort of thing were it ever to be implemented, immoral and unworkable though it is: probably pretty damned good.

Disgust for the terrorists and their predictable Leftist kneejerk support mechanisms: total, complete, and irrevocable.

Update! Boy, that was even quicker than I thought. And more pathetic, too.

Updated update! Angry, frothing-at-the-mouth demands from the Left for an apology for this from al Qaeda: when pigs fly.

Update to the updated update! We’ve got our apology at last. Let’s be sure you’re clear on something though, which this part ought to make damned obvious:

Even ABCNews’ anchorman Peter Jennings was philosophical about the animalistic act. “Simple depravity is inexcusable under any context,” he said. “This outrage certainly puts the Iraqi prisoner abuse story in context. ABCNews will henceforth better endeavor to keep a sense of proportion when reporting certain stories, even when reporting those stories we believe can be used politically against the American military or to Republican administrations.”

Yep, that’s right. It’s a parody. Surely you didn’t for a moment think…..oh, screw it.

Whooof, wish I hadn't taken that link to "even quicker". It's scary.
Those people are really, really weird.
I've never seen anything like that.
Well, I have been avoiding them, I guess.
    Certainly not worth reading.

    Amen, Loren.

Those freaks scare me (and I don't scare easily).

But, thanks in large part to those HUGE profits I'm making from Halliburton (as a member of the VRWC), I can afford to stock up on weaponry and wait for the "Revolution".

The sad thing is, these murdering scumbags have the will to fight us and if the last 7 days has proved anything, its that the US will waste more time hang wringing and apologizing over dressing up other murdering scumbags in woman's clothing, while Al Queda has no problems putting our folks to death by the sword.

Reminds me quite a bit of Apocolypse Now- when Col. Kurtz talks about the Vietcong chopping off the arms of children who had just been innoculated by the Americans - he says their will was greater then ours and thats why they won.

War is a dirty messy affair and a war against insurgents and terrorists is even dirtier and messier. I'd rather see the US spend less time making apologies and more time killing the very people who have the will to chop off the heads of our citizens.

I followed a Link on the Drudge Report to an article entitled: "Pa. family angry with American government over son's brutal death"..

"Michael Berg lashed out at the U.S. military and Bush administration, saying his son might still be alive had he not been detained by U.S. officials in Iraq without being charged and without access to a lawyer."

    From another article:
"Berg, who was in Baghdad from late December to Feb. 1, returned to Iraq in March. He didn't find any work and planned again to return home on March 30, but his daily communications home stopped on March 24. He later told his parents he was jailed by Iraqi officials at a checkpoint in Mosul.

"He was arrested and held without due process," his father, Michael Berg, told the Daily Local News of West Chester recently. "By the time he got out the whole area was inflamed with violence.

The FBI on March 31 interviewed Berg's parents in West Chester. Jerri Williams, a spokeswoman for the Philadelphia FBI office, told The Philadelphia Inquirer the agency had been "asked to interview the parents regarding Mr. Berg's purpose in Iraq." "

I do not mean to sound calouse, but enough of this rose colored BS...

He was there because he chose to be there. He did not have a contract with the US or Iraqi Governemnt, he did not have a contract with any firms that had a contract to be in that area, so he should have anticipated some problems.

To blame the US Govt is weak.

Al Queda and Berg himself are to blame here.

Left Liberal Reaction to Life's Events

    - Burglars loot the house - "I wonder what I did to make them hate me."

    - Crackhead mugs them in West Charlotte - "It's okay... probably just a backlash to white racism. Besides, I'm sure his drug dealer is actually CIA.

    - Bangladesh floods - "It's the fault of my bastard Republican neighbor who drives an SUV, I'm sure of it.

    - Small handful of U.S. troops abuse prisoners in POW facility - "The war is corrupt and the abuse was inevitable; it's probably widespread."

    - American knucklehead wandering about in Iraq gets beheaded by Al Qaida - "It's Bush's fault."

Noticing a trend? This is pretty clearly a pathological inability to acknowledge the responsibility of the individual for his own actions.

But then, it really depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.

The only thing I have to say is that the mainstream media in the good ole U.S. of A. better be showing this.
The response had better be swift and furious, and total, in regards to the fanatics.
The "good muslims", (if there is any such thing), and I am not saying there is not, had better start seperating themselves from the fanatics. They may want to start being a bit more vocal about it, too.

The mainstream media pisses me off; this prisoner fiasco should be a non-issue. Some soldiers thought it'd be cute to make the prisoners look like they're all gay. Haha, funny, funny. Throw the book at them and drop it. It's completely unimportant.

And here we have another American being beheaded, and it's not seeing the outrage in the MEDIA that this prisoner thing is. Drives me absolutely nuts. Who do we care more about? Some prisoners getting made fun of or an american getting his head chopped off? Makes me soooo ANGRY.....

Oh, and who cares if he wasn't there with any contractors or the govt. He was taken and killed because he was American, plain and simple. They'd kill any American they could get their hands on, including friends of mine there now.

It's a good thing I'm not over there; I'd get in trouble for war crimes in no time flat after seeing shit like this. I can't even begin to describe what I'd do to those people; torture of animals would bother me much worse. And any reporters hanging around with them, they'd be dead too; adding and abetting the enemy by ONLY putting out the bad, and demonizing the U.S. troops and what we're doing.

Oh, and if we want to really scare them into submission, we should start up a new lotto; winners get to execute terrorists with extreme prejudice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Add a zero or two to the number we kill for retribution and THEN I'll agree with you...
