Running scared
Know how libs like to mask their obvious screaming panic over the monster Palin’s popularity by offering something like, “oh yeah, I hope you Wingnutz!!™ DO nominate her to run for Prez, because Almighty Lord Obama will kick her azz in 2012!!eleventy!”
Sure. Whatever you cringing dweebs say.
President Obama’s political operation took a shot at Sarah Palin today, accusing her of lying on her media blitz.
“It’s dangerous,” Organizing for America Director Mitch Stewart said of Palin’s book tour.
I’ll just let the monster’s uterus, which has its own blog now — I hear Sullivan is taking six months off from blogging to investigate and “fact-check” it, by curling up on the floor in a fetal ball, quivering and moaning — respond to that one:
Why can’t these people think more like a woman? I don’t understand this “party in power” nonsense at all. It’s hard to imagine a more ominous threat to the Republic than a brainless bimbo who holds no elected or appointed office … from a party that can’t muster enough votes to effectively oppose a government takeover of 1/6th of the economy. Especially when (as Andrew repeatedly points out) her book is so badly written that no one with an IQ above room temperature would pay any attention to it…
Real journalists like Sully and the Associated Press are doing yeoman’s work, protecting Americans like you and me from obviously stupid and unqualified politicians we shouldn’t take seriously. We need their help to decide what is “news” and what we should ignore. Let’s face it — the majority of Americans are ignorant and stupid, except when the majority of them agree with Steve Benen, in which case they are well informed and rational.
Ordinarily, I wouldn’t put a blog like this one in the blogroll, because it’s a novelty thing whose shelf life would necessarily be short. But it’s quite good, and I figure continuing liberal hysteria over Palin will provide whoever is writing it with a very rich and deep vein of material, allowing it to run for as long as the author cares to continue. So bang, zoom, in it goes.
Oh, and as for that pitiful “dangerous” mewling above: you’re damned right she is — to you, and your despicable totalitarian agenda. Which is why real Americans tend to like her, even those who don’t necessarily want her as President.
Update! Oh, and that whole “controversy” ginned up by the Left about supposed hordes of angry Palin fans booing her at an Indiana stop? Staged, of course, with an Obama-sucking fraud planted in the audience to handle the heckling. Gee, imagine my surprise.
Why is it that liberals can’t seem to find a way to make their point — any point — without lying?
