PITTSBURGH — Presenting a unified front at the G-20 summit in Pittsburgh, President Obama, French President Sarkozy, and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown delivered a sharp warning to Iran’s government about what President Obama called “disturbing information” — a secret uranium enrichment facility Western intelligence agencies have discovered near Qom, 97 miles southwest of Tehran.

Calling the news “a challenge made to the entire international community,” President Sarkozy said that “if by December there is not an in-depth change by the Iranian leaders, sanctions will have to be taken.”

President Obama said “the size and configuration of this facility is inconsistent with a peaceful program” and called its construction a “direct challenge to the basic compact at the center of the nonproliferation regime. These rules are clear: All nations have the right to peaceful nuclear energy, those nations with nuclear weapons must move toward disarmament, those nations without nuclear weapons must forsake them.”

Why, exactly? Because you say so, you jug-eared pussy?

They blow off the “September deadline,” never anything more than a means of avoiding a confrontation anyway, and this coward’s idea of a “forceful response” is…to give them until December. Then, when they blow that laughable “deadline” off too, pResident Pussyfart will deliver a REAL ultimatum, and give them till March, at which point absolutely nothing will happen except more of the same. It’s unlikely Iran’s leader will be invited to a reception President Obama will host in New York later this month, the White House said Thursday.

The reception for world leaders will take place during the United Nations General Assembly meeting.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said he doubts that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will be invited because “Iran is failing to live up to its international obligations.” The U.S. has set a mid-September deadline for Iran to respond to its offer to hold talks on that nation’s nuclear program.

Gibbs says it is possible other world leaders will also not be invited.

“I think there are others that might miss out on the hors d’oeuvres,” Gibbs said without revealing the guest list.

WELL. That’ll sure show ‘em. More:

Even so, American officials, including Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, have kept up the pressure, emphasizing the September date and the threat of “crippling action” if Iran fails to respond in time.

Actually, she’s right about that; the Iranians are by now laughing so hard at these wet-brained morons and their empty threats they probably can’t even breathe.

Obama is a weakling, a coward, a gutless pussy, a punk’s punk. He has no clue whatever about how to deal with our enemies; as so often happens with Leftards, he’s vicious and implacable when attacking Americans and our real allies, and weak-kneed and pusillanimous when dealing with our enemies. And if, after his regime’s stunning demonstration of how Democrat Socialists “defend” the country, Americans ever again entrust our security to them, we’ll have only ourselves to blame for the resultant disaster, and will richly deserve it.

We are left with many questions. What, if anything, changed? Was there new intelligence? If so, what is it? If not, why did the CIA change its conclusion and allow the president to use this language? When did Obama learn that the benefit of the doubt he had been giving Iran on its nuclear program was, in effect, helping the Iranian regime perpetuate its lies?

Perhaps most important, will this public revelation of the facility create the political pressure necessary to persuade Obama to finally get tough with Iran?

Of course not. He’ll remain on his grubby little knees, enthusiastically slurping away, and then apologize for not being very good at it.
