Former President Jimmy Carter reiterated Wednesday that he believes racism is an issue for President Obama in trying to lead the country.
“When a radical fringe element of demonstrators and others begin to attack the president of the United States as an animal or as a reincarnation of Adolf Hitler or when they wave signs in the air that said we should have buried Obama with Kennedy, those kinds of things are beyond the bounds,” the Democrat who served from 1977-1981 told students at Emory University.

Whatever he's saying at that time is the truth. If it contradicts what he's said before? Well, nobody who matters has the bad manners to point that out.
What makes that bit about "hitler" and "animals" funnier is that he invited Michael Moore, he of Fahrenheit 9/11 fame, to sit with him at the Presidential Box at that Dem convention.

Yah- I guess allowing another country to attack and destroy our embassy and take everyone inside hostage for well over a year, without any real attempt to strike back, hoping that wringing his hands on national TV in the Rose Garden would do the trick, passing the time until a real man became President- I guess none of that was beyond the bounds.
