Establishment media swoons over God-Emperor’s SOS oratory, vows renewed commitment to the fight for his/their National Socialist agenda

September 10th, 2009

And of course that’s what it was really all about in the first place. For real Americans, though, the best bit was this: the only honest  moment in the whole dog and pony show:

GOP congressman yells “liar” at Obama
The culprit was South Carolina rep Joe Wilson, who felt moved to act when The One told what was, in fact, a lie. Although certainly not his biggest of the night: Where this jackass gets off lecturing Americans on civility after his cretinous cronies spent a month demagoging the hell out of every protester in sight is beyond me. You’re Mr. Clean, aren’t you, champ? And bottom-feeders like Harry Reid are your hatchet men. Nice work if you can get it.

He’s already apologized for his crime against the Almighty State, which is kind of emblematic of where we are these days: Obama lies, lies, and lies some more; his poodles in the “adversary press,” skeptical, sophisticated cynics that they are, uncritically regurgitate the lies undigested and viciously attack anyone who dares to notice the dishonesty; and those who actually go so far as to point out the mess on the national rug have to apologize for having the outrageous temerity to tell the raw truth.

Incredible as it may seem, though, the AP manages to get up off its knees for a minute and remember what its job is really supposed to be. They did this once before recently, as I recollect. Good on ‘em.

Update! Unlike Omri, I’d forgotten about this, and so did the moronic DKos mouthbreather he slaps around in the post. Don’t recollect any Democrat Socialist apologies afterwards, either. “I can tell you what would have happened,” eh? Sure, Einstein. Except for the inconvenient fact that none of it — not one goddamned bit of it — did, unlike what’s happening right now with Wilson — thereby demonstrating once again who actually occupies the higher ground here, and who’s just posturing and flinging shit. Just another instance of them sniveling and snuffling over Republicans doing things they’ve already done one hell of a lot more of themselves.

So cry me a river, you whining, stupid fucking tools. One of whom would surely be the reliably despicable Obama-sucking hack Dana Milbank:

As President Obama addressed a joint session of Congress on Wednesday night, the nation’s rapidly deteriorating discourse hit yet another low.

The national debate, already raw for years, had coarsened over the summer as town hall meetings across the country dissolved into protests about “death panels” and granny-killing. Guns were brought to Obama appearances. A pastor in Arizona said he was praying for Obama to die.

But even by that standard, there was something appalling about the display on the House floor for what was supposed to be a sacred ritual of American democracy: the nation watching while Cabinet members, lawmakers from both chambers and the diplomatic corps assembled.

“Sacred ritual?” You gotta be kidding me. Since when is anything in politics “sacred,” anyway? And I notice that Milbank — along with the DKos cockbite, and every other Democrat Socialist oxygen thief in the nation — also seems to have forgotten how another “sacred ritual” was defiled by liberal assholes a mere nine months ago — but Jacobson didn’t:

A shocking lack of respect all around.

Not for the first time. Like when George Bush was booed at Obama’s inauguration.

Self-serving and hypocritical, Omri says. Also moronic. It’s all that and more, and quite possibly does represent a new low, but not in the way the idiot Milbank means. Fuck every last stinking one of these mendoucheous commie scumbags in the heart with a railroad spike. They can all eat shit and die for all me. Yesterday wouldn’t be soon enough.

Of course YoMama neglected to mention that Republicans offered amendments to specifically deny illegals coverage and democrats voted those down on the party line. If they refuse to add the provision then then claim it is in there then they are liars. Obama lied to all of us or he simply hasn't read the bill and doesn't know what is in it.

"But even by that standard, there was something appalling about the display on the House floor for what was supposed to be a sacred ritual of American democracy: the nation watching while Cabinet members, lawmakers from both chambers and the diplomatic corps assembled. "

Does that mean government is a religion or theocracy?

    Well, just this one, Tim.
