How smart is Obama? Well, it depends on whether, by “smart,” you mean “dumb as a hatful of assholes.”

But hey, he uses those über-pretentious, oh-so-precious and sophistycated NPR pronunciations like “Pock-ee-stahn” and “Tolly-bahn” all the time, so he’s just gotta be pretty smart, right?

    I love the inconsistency of those pretentious hypercorrect pronunciations. None of the wielders of Beijing, Mumbai, or Pakeestan would ever say Paree, Roma, Varshava or Moskva.
