Lyin’ Messiah tour de farce

July 12th, 2009

More of the same tired lies from the Liar In Thief:

The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act was not expected to restore the economy to full health on its own but to provide the boost necessary to stop the free fall. So far, it has done that.

Nope. Lie.

It was, from the start, a two-year program, and it will steadily save and create jobs as it ramps up over this summer and fall.

Nope. Lie.

I am confident that the United States of America will weather this economic storm. But once we clear away the wreckage, the real question is what we will build in its place.

That is indeed the real question, and he’s already answered it. With an inconvenient truth — the only one he’s uttered yet.

Ah, but when will we get to this lying son of a bitch’s usual “there are some who….” strawman, you ask? Why, right here:

There are some who say we must wait to meet our greatest challenges. They favor an incremental approach or believe that doing nothing is somehow an answer.

Nope. Lie.

Now is the time to build a firmer, stronger foundation for growth that not only will withstand future economic storms but that helps us thrive and compete in a global economy.

Nope. Lie.

To build that foundation, we must lower the health-care costs that are driving us into debt…

His health care takeover will cost trillions, and restrict Americans’ health care choices.

….create the jobs of the future within our borders…

Nope. Lie.

…give our workers the skills and training they need to compete for those jobs…

Did someone mention re-education camps?

…and make the tough choices necessary to bring down our deficit in the long run.

Nope. Lie.

Already, we’re making progress on health-care reform that controls costs while ensuring choice and quality…

Nope. Lie.

…as well as energy legislation that will make clean energy the profitable kind of energy, leading to whole new industries and jobs that cannot be outsourced.

Nope. Lie.

Ed misses by a whisker:

Either Obama has no idea how to “rebuild” the American economy, or his ideas are so bad that he has to hide them in embarrassingly elementary platitudes.

Or, perhaps, his intention is to mislead and deceive about what his agenda really is, ramming through as much of it as he possibly can, while he can, after which it will be almost impossible to undo. It’s absurd to say that he “has no idea” how to rebuild the American economy, when we consider how far he’s already come with that particular project.

No, I think at this point it’s very damned clear that he knows exactly what he’s doing, and is more than passingly familiar with the kind of underhanded methods required to do it.

Anybody good and sick of this lying socialist dirtbag’s cynical manipulation yet?

No need to say much really. You covered it extremely well. Alinsky, Cloward, and Pivens, plc, would be so proud of their student.

I was sick of it before the election last November. Then again, my mouth isn't/wasn't attached to Barry's dick, so my point of view might differ from that of others.

    I'm actually kinda enjoying it.

After 8 years of screaming and wailing about how terrible the Bush administration is, I'm going to enjoy the bitchslap reality is about to deliver.

And the more they try deny it, the harder the blow is going to be.

I'm not happy about the economy going into the toilet. But if that's what it takes to show people that the US isn't some magical land where everything happens if we just "Try hard enough", then that's the road we're on.
