They’re our enemies, stupid

Iranian fists not unclenching, despite a benediction from the Lord? INEXPLICABLE! UNPOSSIBLE!

Just 29 percent of Iranians said they have favorable views of the United States in the latest poll, which was conducted last month. In a similar survey in February 2008 — nearly a year before Barack Obama became president — 34 percent had positive opinions about the U.S.

It…it…it simply CANNOT BE. As for those Iranian “moderates” various Pollyannas here always like to point to as the great hope for future peace, umm: what moderates?

Allahpundit does the analyzin’:

Remember, the crux of Obama’s strategic disagreement with Netanyahu is whether dealing with Iran first will lead to Israeli/Palestinian peace later (the Israeli position) or whether peace between Israel and Palestine first will make it easier to deal with Iran later (the American position). Eyeball that graph again and tell me who’s right.

Oh, I’d say that’s clear enough, to anyone willing and able to see. But go ahead, Barrackolytes, keep right on talking at people who aren’t listening; see what it gets ya. Prediction: same big bag o’ nothing it always has.

Oh, and a nuclear-armed, terrorist-sponsoring, Muslim-zealot rogue state — willing, able, and with the political backing to lob a few nukes at Tel Aviv any time it decides it’s ready to take unassailable charge in the ME, rallying all the other wild-eyed savages to their banner for the relentless march into the glorious Islamist future. That, too.

Update! Incredibly, unbelievably, flabbergastingly enough, the Nork fist isn’t unclenching either. But I’m confident President Bumblemouth’s usual soaring, brilliant rhetoric will right the situation soon enough.

...or whether peace between Israel and Palestine first will make it easier to deal with Iran later (the American position).

Only a dipshit would think that.
