Lying idiot backs off — for now

May 15th, 2009

From outrageous, to ridiculous, to laughable, to pathetic, in four backwards steps:

“We all share great respect for the dedicated men and women of the intelligence community who are deeply committed to the safety and security of the American people. My criticism of the manner in which the Bush Administration did not appropriately inform Congress is separate from my respect for those in the intelligence community who work to keep our country safe. What is important now is to be united in our commitment to ensuring the security of our country; that, and how Congress exercises its oversight responsibilities, will continue to be my focus as we move forward.”

Uh huh. Keep twisting, bitch. Ace knows what’s up here: “She doesn’t want the documents coming out that prove her to be a liar, so she’s attempting a ‘Let’s just call it a draw’ withdrawal of the claim.” She shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it; she did as much as anyone else to help light this fire, and I damned well hope it burns her so badly her plasticene, botoxed face melts. At the very least, she ought to see Hoyer — almost anybody else would be an improvement, up to and including Krusty the Clown — walk away with her job as Speaker. But better yet…

Tar, feathers, Pelosi: some assembly required.

Democrats thought they had a free pass to demagogue forever, but its backfiring on them. That shows just how dangerous this foolishness is. It could backfire on the whole country if they don't pull their heads out of their asses.

As I commented over at Ace's, pay careful attention to what she said. Very rarely is the President, Vice President or other assorted officials completely informed of CIA covert operations. Yes, 'need to know' actually does apply, even at those levels, especially concerning sources and methods.

The botoxed bint said she is upset with the Bush administration not informing congress about interrogation. Because of what I pointed out above, it is the responsibility of CIA for disclosure to congress for oversight of covert missions.

Too bad the MSM will never point this fact out. I guess we can hope for Cheney to hold her feet to the fire...
