At least, I would like to think so.  And I could comment on this until the cows come home.  And then some.  But here is the wiki on Franklin Pierce, a US President.  From New Hampshire (and about as a non-entity as the retiring Supreme Court justice from New Hampshire, David Souter).  Now, look at the ‘dark horse’ Pierce and look at our current president.

    Fucking hell. He was attacked with a hard boiled egg? Seriously? And for this he got a bodyguard? WTF?
