SHOCKER: Obama lies about slashing defense

Anyone surprised by this revolting and dangerous development — both the cuts and the lying about it — is an idiot. As Ace says, the Commander in Thief has finally found the one government institution he’s willing to cut.

Funny how Democrats can whine about decreases in the rate of annual increase of big-government spending during the Reagan and Bush years as draconian “cuts,” and then turn around and claim that actual draconian cuts in defense are “increases,” innit?

Update! The WSJ subhead says it all: “The secretary’s new budget will leave us weaker to pay for the president’s domestic programs.” Well, yeah. What the hell did you think the Barrackarrhoids — who hate the vision of the USA laid out by the Founders, wish to see it changed into something not even remotely like that vision, and despise that doomed nation’s military, its erstwhile strength, and its success — were voting for, anyway?
