Shorter Alan Colmes: WAAAAH!

I have a great idea. Leave the guy alone. Yes, LEAVE OBAMA ALONE. I’m not suggesting we shouldn’t hold our government officials accountable, but how about giving the new chief time to find out where the men’s room is in the White House? I know what you might be thinking if you’re not a Democrat: “You liberals hated Bush from day one and never gave him a chance.” Not true. We gave him time to screw up and he didn’t disappoint.

A lie. You did no such thing, and you damned well know it. The “Bush stole the election” wails began the moment Gore sent his team of flying monkeys out on election night in 2000, to scour the nation looking for close contests he could challenge, in an attempt to…yes, steal the election. It continued for every last minute of Bush’s two terms, kneecapping our ability (thanks also in no small measure to Bush’s refusal to stand up to the Left and refute their lies, it must be admitted) to effectively fight the WoT, just to name only one damaging effect.

So cry me a river, cupcake; your boy is going to continue getting exactly what your side doled out the last eight years, measure for measure. And until Obama officially rescinds the First Amendment — not that he won’t try as soon as he thinks he can get away with — there’s not one damned thing he, or you, can do about it. Well, except whine about the unfairness of it all, naturally. But that’s just sweet, sweet music to my ears, and diminishes my resolve to hammer your phonus-balonus Messiah every chance I get not one iota. Quite the opposite, in fact.

Monday, March 30, is just the 70th day of the Obama presidency. He’s addressed the economy, health care, wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and our relationship with Iran. In fact, he’s even been accused of doing too much too soon –as if he wouldn’t have faced criticism for doing too little had he not taken the steps he’s taken. One of the reasons he’s had to be pro-active is because he inherited a mess. And climbing out of a ditch takes longer than it did to get in it because to climb out you’re going against gravity.

Wow, that’s some truly trenchant and powerful analysis there. Thanks for the remedial physics lesson, Al. As for doing “too much” — that’s not the point. He’s doing the wrong things, and any real American with even casual regard for Constitutional government has an obligation and a duty to stand firmly against his extremist expansion of nanny-state power.

You Lefty twits got what you wanted with your socialist personality-cult Current Occupant; it’s kind of unseemly for you to now petulantly demand that we all just sit back, shut up, grease up, spread ‘em, and compliantly pretend to enjoy the reaming we’re getting. I assure you, it ain’t gonna happen.

Leave Obama alone. Stop it. Stop it now. We’re not headed toward communism. We’re not becoming a socialist nation. (We already became one under Bush). The middle class is not disappearing. (That, too happened during the last 8 years and the stimulus will hopefully bring that back.) Leave him alone. The next election will be here soon enough. Leave him alone. Go about your business. And have a nice day.

As if becoming a socialist nation under Bush makes ossifying and expanding the error somehow the right thing to do. “Go about your business?” The business of every American is to put a stop to the destruction of the American way of life currently being accelerated under the illegitimate Obama Regency. “Leave Obama alone?” Fuck him, and you. We’d all be better served if he left us alone. But being a socialist tyrant, that he cannot and will not do — which means the rest of us will now do what we must to stop him. If that makes you want to clench your chubby little fists and cry, too bad. Hide and watch, you sniveling punk.

    And remind these idiots that when Obama says he inherited the financial problems, that Bush had 9/11 occur on his watch. He had that happen in his first year and managed to steer clear of a financial meltdown and the dot-bomb bust, AND had a tax cut.

    Shit happens and that is why you elect people who already have a clue where the men's room is.

    He was supposed to be the executive who had a plan and could hit the bricks running. We complained loudly during the campaign that experience mattered, but were assured it didn't, and that Obama had all the experience needed. Now we're being told that he needs time. NO. Pick one: He's experienced and won't need time, or he doesn't have the experience we need in a POTUS.

    Every single time Obama does exactly what we say he'd do, some moron comes along and says that it is a shock to them, or that we couldn't have known that would happen, or Obama couldn't be expected to know how to handle it immediately.

    YES, we did know what Obama would do and we ARE becoming a socialist/communist nation.

    Government directing the affairs of business is how you define National Socialism. Shall we compare to the NAZI's 25-point plan?

    9. All citizens must have equal rights and obligations.

    10. The first obligation of every citizen must be to work both spiritually and physically. The activity of individuals is not to counteract the interests of the universality, but must have its result within the framework of the whole for the benefit of all. Consequently we demand:

    18. We demand struggle without consideration against those whose activity is injurious to the general interest. Common national criminals, usurers, profiteers and so forth are to be punished with death, without consideration of confession or race.

    19. We demand substitution of a German common law in place of the Roman Law serving a materialistic world-order.

    20. The state is to be responsible for a fundamental reconstruction of our whole national education program, to enable every capable and industrious German to obtain higher education and subsequently introduction into leading positions. The plans of instruction of all educational institutions are to conform with the experiences of practical life. The comprehension of the concept of the State must be striven for by the school [Staatsbuergerkunde] as early as the beginning of understanding. We demand the education at the expense of the State of outstanding intellectually gifted children of poor parents without consideration of position or profession.

    21. The State is to care for the elevating national health by protecting the mother and child, by outlawing child-labor, by the encouragement of physical fitness, by means of the legal establishment of a gymnastic and sport obligation, by the utmost support of all organizations concerned with the physical instruction of the young.

    22. We demand abolition of the mercenary troops and formation of a national army.

    23. We demand legal opposition to known lies and their promulgation through the press. In order to enable the provision of a German press, we demand, that: a. All writers and employees of the newspapers appearing in the German language be members of the race: b. Non-German newspapers be required to have the express permission of the State to be published. They may not be printed in the German language: c. Non-Germans are forbidden by law any financial interest in German publications, or any influence on them, and as punishment for violations the closing of such a publication as well as the immediate expulsion from the Reich of the non-German concerned. Publications which are counter to the general good are to be forbidden. We demand legal prosecution of artistic and literary forms which exert a destructive influence on our national life, and the closure of organizations opposing the above made demands.
