Can’t anybody here play this game?

Now Obama has insulted French President Sarkozy!

Oh no! Obama sent a letter to Chirac, saying he looks forward to working with him the next four years. Le Figaro, French newspaper is horrified at the faux pas. Doesn’t Obama ever consult his staff before acting? Sarkozy is the President there! It’s like Sarko writing to George Bush and saying he looks forward to working with him. Chirac is the FORMER president.

Aside from his conniving genius at dismantling the proven-successful American economic and political systems and making them over into something far, far less likely to be workable, sustainable, or even desirable, the man is a blithering, bumbling boob.

Update! Nothing to see here: he was responding to a letter from Chirac, not soliciting his future cooperation. So this once, there’s no real problem here.

He’s still a boob, of course.

    The Casey Stengel allusion was very nice. I might have gone with:
    "What do you think of your team's execution?"
    "I'm in favor of it."
