Ask a simple question
And I’m only too happy to provide a simple answer, even if the question’s central assumption is in error:
After rushing Congress to act, why did he wait for days to sign the “emergency” stimulus bill?
Because it ain’t about stimulus, and the economy doesn’t much matter, except in terms of getting on with rebuilding it in the EUro mode. All he had to do was stampede the public long enough to convince any handful of recalcitrant elected reps that resistance to this naked power grab was futile; he had the majority of Congress, including the 3 RINO turncoats (sorry for the redundancy) whose votes ended up passing this criminal grotesquerie, at “hello, socialism.” Now all he has to do is sign the damned thing, and there’s no real need for speed there; once that’s done, America That Was’s goose, and its future as a free, independent, and sovereign bird, is well and truly cooked.
