Everybody seems all surprised at this, but I can’t imagine why. He’s a liberal Democrat; he doesn’t give two shits, or or even one shit, or even a wet fart, about soldiers. Although I guess it does say something about how little he’s fretting over the strength of his opponents to take the political risk.
