Is Obama still lying?

December 11th, 2008

Yep. And the expected coverup continues apace, too.

Anybody think it’s too soon to start referring to the Lamb of Chicago as Barrack Milhouse Obama? He’s not even sworn in yet, and already it’s shaping up to be one of the most corrupt admins in history.

Delicious.

Update! One of Glenn’s commenters notices something…umm, curious:

Notice the problem with Obama’s websites?

Neither he nor his staff is censoring the comments…. but they’ve set the site up to allow others to do so.

Neither he nor his staff asked for any illegal foreign contributions, or for contributions from obviously false donors….. they just disabled the standard controls and credit card checks to allow it to happen.

They didn’t have any ties to whacky characters with extreme ideas…. but the campaign website allowed anyone to set up a “blog” and put out the propaganda.

In each case, Obama and his staff were careful to leave no directly illegal/unethical fingerprints of their own….. but they sure made it easy for “supporters unknown” to do so through their IT systems.

Deniability — it’s built right in.

Nobody ever said the crooked swine wasn’t slicker’n owl shit. The Lyin’ Messiah learned his Chicago lessons well.

Updated update! Via LGF, our Greasy Messiah is now casting desperately about for a scapegoat to toss under the bus. Getting a mite crowded under there these days.

As an American voter fed up with the politics of the last 8 years
I stood in awe on the election of Sen Barrack Obama simply because I bought his message of change and hope for the future of our countryand I am more than willing
to "wait and see" what the immediate future holds in store.
It is sad if because of the alleged coruption of the State's Blago Admin that Pres-elect
Obama name has been injeted into the fray by way of inuendoe or guilt
    by association.
Understanding Illinois Politics and anything could happen, I will now give the Pres-
elect the benefit of the doubt and not assume he is or was involved with the
    "Trash" which is Illinois Politics
Obama's naysayers will likely try to make hay with this situation (sic) let them
try knowing all along that some Republlicans are basically "sour grapes) about
    their lasses in Novenber.

    "Is Obama lying?"

I don't know. Are his lips moving?

Jim, it has nothing to do with sourgrapes or the loss in November.

There is no "alleged" corruption, it is right out in the open. This is not about heresay, the corruption is fact.

Doesn't it seem at all strange when controversy surrounds one of Obama's friends or mentors, they become just an aquaintance, someone in the neighborhood or someone he thinks served on the same committee?

Tell us Jim, what about Obama and his administration is going to be different? What exactly is the change? Most of the positions he's filled are with throwbacks from the Clinton era.

What was that famous quote... something about ignoring history... being doomed to repeat it? I forget exactly how it goes, but you know the one.

What scares me about people like Jim is that they actually vote. That and the fact that we place some much interest in what college kids think about politics and how their vast life-experience will affect their vote.
Frankly I find it frightening that people that pay such scant attention to the world about them and don't dig deeper than an inch, actually cast a vote about something this important. To "wait and see" how things turn out while real people have to deal with the consequences is a sad commentary on our election process.

Absolutely Grey and they don't even realize what they are even voting for or against.

Obama wants to spend $60 billion dollar to create jobs through infrastructure projects. Two things that college kids don't stop to think about are: 1.) where the money comes from and 2.) what these jobs entail.

I wonder how many Jims out there are going to want to dig ditches, operate a jackhammer or at the very least work as a flagger for minimum wage. When they look at their paycheck and realize half of it has been sucked up by the "hope and change" they were promised, we just have to hold back saying "hey, you're the one that bought it, now wait and see".

Warren Harding's quote seems appropriate now.

"I have no trouble with my enemies. I can take care of my enemies in a fight. But my damn friends, they're the ones who keep me walking the floor nights."

Jim - Officer Malone already said it:

"Welcome to Chicago. This town stinks like a whorehouse at low tide."

And you think Mr.Obama was the only virgin in that whorehouse? If you do then you must think that he is the most incurious, clueless puppet to ever be put up as a front-man. Doesn't quite ring true with all of the praise for his learned, discerning intellect, does it? And it doesn't even have national security as an excuse for the blind eye.
