Common thread
No wonder the Left is willing to: root for terrorists to defeat their own country in Iraq; overlook without comment all sorts of Muslim brutality towards women and gays, while attacking their own countrymen as hate-filled misogynist bigots; condemn their country for the stain of slavery, washed away here by an ocean of blood more than a hundred years ago, while the abomination still goes on in the Muslim world without much (if anything) in the way of censure from Western progressivists; attack Israel as monstrous and bloodthirsty while expressing only sympathy for the vicious, subhuman killers from whose vile depredations it’s trying to defend itself and its citizens, even as it treats their wounded in their hospitals (while they use ambulances not only as cover but as weapons, no less); and revile any sensible person in the free world with the temerity to name the radical Islamic enemy, even as they mock, insult, and attack Christians and Republicans as “the real threat.” The two groups have something in common: they’re both a passel of demented, perpetually-seething headcases.
Both probably incurable too, I’d bet.
