Revealing words

November 10th, 2008

And ones that ought to the makes the hairs on the back of every liberty loving American’s neck stand straight up:

Jarret (co-chair of Obama’s Ascension to the Throne of Heaven team Valerie, that is – M) told Brokaw that “given the daunting challenges that we face, it’s important that president elect Obama is prepared to really take power and begin to rule (from) day one.”

Now, you may not think of this as such a big deal, just an unfortunate choice of words, and with most other politicians you’d be right. But I think the choice of words, taken along with the hubris and megalomania we’ve seen all along from the Lamb of Chicago and his disciples, spells it out very clearly: these people lack even the most basic understanding of what America’s supposed to be all about. And in those uncommon instances when they do grasp it, they’re hostile to it.

As for that “really take power” business, a prediction: the first hundred days of the Obamareich are going to be a veritable shitstorm of power grabs, socialist steamrolling, and Constitution-gutting. They’re going to try to do as much damage as they can, as quickly as they can, before those pitiful few Democrats who haven’t quite yet yielded up their souls to the Marxist Messiah and tossed the idea of American liberty overboard in the wake of His Holy Juggernaut know what’s hit ‘em.

And another thing to watch for, too: the liberal media is going to start snarking at Obama and his cultists here and there, if only in a token and half-hearted fashion. They’ll get back to the business of plumping for RINOs, too, those hapless good-time Charlies having proven themselves useful as Democrat stalking horses. Liberal journalists know they need to patch together the gaping rents in their credibility that their relentless, full-throated campaign to elect the Redeemer created.

A lot of Right bloggers, myself included, have chortled the past few years over the impending death of the MSM and its insidious influence over our political process. We’ve been guilty of dancing on an unfilled grave, though; if this election proved anything, it’s that there are still a large number of stupes and dupes out there who consider themselves “informed” because they uncritically lap up everything they see in the NYT and on CNN. With the LLMSM as with all vampires, you have to drive a stake through their hearts and cut off their heads to keep them from rising again.

Got a long, hard road ahead of us, people. Maybe we can at last learn from our mistakes and get to work.

    Mike-

Sometime before the election I was talking to a professional mentor of mine and he said something like this (I paraphrase):

'I just had an epiphany. Conservatives think Liberalism is a political philosophy. Conservatives think Conservatism is a political philosophy. Liberals think Conservatism is a political philosophy. Liberals think Liberalism is Enlightenment. That is why I have never been able to change the mind of a Liberal.'

Hell, this is "rule". They really think they are Enlightened and we are not. Therefore they believe that we need to be ruled as does the country. After all it is full of those icky regular people in between the coasts.

I have said elsewhere that the Liberals really do mean to do all those things they threaten - criminalize guns and Conservatism, shut down any dissenting speech and re-educate those who will not submit to their rule. They are as bad as the jihadis, they just wear different colored sheep's clothing.

does the use of the word 'rule', rather than 'lead', make anyone's hair stand on end like mine is doing right now?

exactly when did the POTUS become a RULER?????!

Every time somebody on this team makes an "unfortunate choice of words," it just so happens to be what they really think.

it's been my experience that when people says stuff like this, they are revealing their true feelings, not mis-speaking

the speaker above indeed sees obama as a ruler, not a mere 'president'

The word is 'govern'. Pres. Obama will learn that over time as he deals with Congress.

Congress - 535 of the most over-weening egos ever collected into one place that doesn't speak French as a first language.
