Namely, the plumber who so properly, satisfyingly, and famously confronted Obama on his socialist policies:
PM: Still, in that vein, Obama says he doesn’t want to “punish” you, but he wants to – let me see if I can see what his exact quote was…
JW: Redistribute the wealth.
PM: …taxing small businesses making $250,000 and above is going to help the people “behind you.” And yes, “spreading the wealth around.” How did you feel about that?
JW: As soon as he said it, he contradicted himself. He doesn’t want to “punish” me, but – when you use the word “but,” you pretty much negate everything you just said prior to that. So he does want to punish me, he does want to punish me for working harder to – you know, my big thing is the American Dream. I work hard. You know, I was poor; my mom raised me and my brother by herself for a very long time until my dad came along. So I know what it’s like to suffer. It’s not like I was born with a silver spoon. Usually it was a wooden spoon and it was on my butt. It was just a contradiction of terms, what he said: he doesn’t want to punish me but he wants to redistribute my wealth. And what I mean when I say my wealth, I mean the collective. Eventually – I mean, just to sound a little silly here, but you need rich people. I mean, who are you going to work for?
Bottom line: the American dream is still real, and still working to improve more lives than socialism ever will, or ever could. That’s a problem for the Social Democrats. They want to “fix” it. And that is a problem for America.
PM: Do you fear this is the possibility of America turning more down the socialist road if Obama does become elected and if he is able to implement these policies?
JW: Very much so.
Read all of it. This guy has far more wisdom and intelligence with half his brain tied behind his back than the sum total of all of those who would deride him as “unsophisticated,” “ignorant,” and “insensitive,” and who think their pretension to intellectual superiority accords them a near-divine right to rule him.
Would that there were more of him, and fewer of them.

I voted for Daniels. He's brought a zillion jobs and businesses into the state--travels all over the place doing just that--and he's gone past turning a sea of red ink into a balanced budget, and built up a monstro reserve. The states we border are all financial ruins--Michigan is so broke it's going to have to turn tricks at truck stops; Ohio's boned, Kentucky is a mess as I recall, and Missouri I'm not sure about except there's a couple real assholes in power in mosque-loving St. Loo. Not all of that reserve was filched from the likes of me, either. He's sold off our major toll road to a private concern, stuff like that. I believe toll roads are a swindle anyway, I'd just as soon the state didn't do the swindling.
Anyway, I liked his sentiment. The guy's a shoe-in anyway. The pudgy, sacrificial Democrap bimbo opposing him keeps trying to say his fiscal ways are damaging the state. At least she used to say that--her campaign ran out of money and it shut her the hell up.
