Just in time for Halloween

Sure, it’s sort of a low blow, and sort of unfair, and sort of hysterical. So what? No more so than the hackwork below, I’d say — and this here site ain’t exactly the Atlantic Monthly, either, and doesn’t make spurious claims to “impartiality” or “objectivity” like they do:

The Atlantic shoulda just gone ahead and used that one rather than the sinister-looking, clumsy slice of manipulation they actually did; it would’ve been more honest of them. No, Obama himself hasn’t murdered anyone by exsanguination…yet. That I know of, I mean. BUT IT COULD HAPPEN!!
Update! For the record, no, I don’t think Obama is a vampire — any more than I think McCain is a warmonger. I don’t think he’s exactly a communist, either; I think his political sympathies lie in that direction, sure. But I think he’s way more of a self-seeking opportunist, and that his vanity and megalomania will always trump any ideological tendencies he has. So there.
Updated update! As you’d expect, Weaz is on the case, and she’s a lot better at this sort of thing than I’ll ever be. Hey, all I have is a hammer, so to me every problem looks like a nail.
Update to the updated update! Via Glenn, looks like the Atlantic ain’t too happy with the deranged, child-abusing bint Greenberg’s work:
The editor of The Atlantic Monthly said Monday he is sending a letter of apology to John McCain after a woman the magazine hired to photograph the Republican presidential nominee posted manipulated pictures from the photo shoot on her Web site.
Editor James Bennet said Greenberg behaved improperly and will not be paid for the session. He said the magazine is also considering a lawsuit.
Schweeeeeet.
