They got nothin’
I love the smell of liberal desperation in the morning:
Of all the criticisms an apparently panicky Dem party has heaped on Sarah Palin in the hours since her selection was announced, Keith Boykin [bio] has come up with perhaps the unseemliest. The former aide to President Clinton has accused Palin of being an “affirmative action” pick.
Not that I believe her to be such at all — seems to me that Veep picks are more than anything else about generating some excitement and support for the top of the ticket in a very directly political way — but: Oh, so you guys are AGAINST affirmative action now? Glad to hear it, chumps.
Oh, and Jay Emmanuel’s got your dumbass “experience” ploy swingin‘, too.
Update! WHORE!!!
Do these retards have the vaguest inkling of how incredibly pathetic they’re making themselves look? And by the way, I thought we were supposed to be beyond the same old politics of smear, innuendo, and distraction from discussing real issues?
But as with everything else, it’s do as they say, not as they do.
Updated update! GMA’s Bill Weir: you can’t have it all — now get those shoes off and get back in the kitchen, woman! But if Palin were a Demonrat, she’d be presented as the most stirring example of indomitable heroism since Joan of Arc.
Pathetic is what I said, and pathetic is what I meant.

Do you think Obama is unhappy about these attacks on Palin? Never, I say! Rather, he delights in each and every innuendo and smear...as long as it can't be traced back to him or any of his overt staff. Fling it up there until the walls are thick with it, and hope some of it sticks!
We won't hear Obama sternly directing the Nutroots, or any other person or organization whose support he can count on, to cease and desist in their "dirty politics." All he has to do to get the maximum benefit from their scurrilities is to maintain his deniability -- and I'm certain he's got a team whose responsibility is to maintain that, and nothing else.
Yes, it's leftist gutter politics. Has there ever been another kind?
