Settling the accounts

Malpractice.

So, now that we know lockdowns have prompted an international tragedy comparable only to miseries suffered in times of war, and that almost none of it was warranted, who pays?

Three guesses, first two don’t etc.

Will the unrepentant taskmasters of “social distancing” be forced to defend this disastrous Stone Age-era approach to a world in despair? How can small business owners in states demolished by capricious decrees imposed by power-hungry governors seek recompense?

Who will ask Anthony Fauci or Deborah Birx to step away from the media spotlight long enough to witness first-hand the dystopian climate their guidance has created on desperate college campuses or the empty hallways in high schools or vacant kindergarten classrooms?

Wrong question. The right one: why the hell does either of them still have a job?

Fauci, after all, again this week bragged that he advised the president back in March to “shut the country down.” His only regret is that the country wasn’t shut down “completely.”

But Fauci isn’t living with the repercussions of his wrongheaded advice. To the contrary, he still receives fawning media coverage and now is embroiled in a battle with Team Trump over the use of his comments in a campaign ad. Ironically, as the Wall Street Journal pointed out in an editorial on Tuesday, Trump might lose the election because the president “listened to Dr. Fauci too much on lockdowns.”

Birx just warned that holiday family gatherings might be iced as she pondered aloud “how to bring that safety into the household.”

The “science!” and the experts we heeded in a moment of crisis turned out to be dead wrong; the world will suffer the aftermath for years to come. And their legions of victims deserve answers and accountability or, at the very least, an apology.

  1. There are no “experts” working for government. If they were truly experts they would not work for government. Fauci and others like them are just wannabe’s. The best advice would be to do the opposite of what they say.

Funny though, how all us non experts had it right from the very beginning. Just luck we’re told. No, it’s based on some understanding of virus’s and a lot of understanding of government and history. Throw in a dash of understanding that the “deep state” is out to get Trump with no care at all for the effects upon the country and you’ve got the formula we followed.

Oh, and be sure to wear your mask in order to scare everyone into submission.

    1. First off, Fauci has been in his position for 55 years and never, not once, did he ever even mention any of the steps he suggested taking this time. There could be only one factor for taking this approach for the first time in history contrary to all the successes we’ve had in the past with infectious diseases. Stop Orange Man Bad.
In 2005 Fauci confirmed his agreement with a CDC Report that said HCQ was not only a very good Therapeutic Treatment for Corona Virus, the report said it had Prophylactic effects, meaning it could have vaccination like effects to prevent people from getting it But in March 2020 he thought it might Kill You.
Here is a report about how exactly the CDC gamed the numbers to generate the Lockdown Supports.

Fauci is not just Not An Expert.
Fauci is not just an Incompetent Government Lifer Bureaucrat.
Fauci is a Deep State Operative member of the Coup Attempt.
And all the crew working in those Government Healthcare Hives are similar.

The only person who seemed ok was the Doctor at Walter Reed in charge of treating Trump.
Then again, he actually has to treat real patients in a real hospital.

If you are in fact a legit hooman bean desirous of registering yourself a CF user name so as to be able to comment only to find yourself caught up as collateral damage in one of my irregularly (un)scheduled sweeps for hinky registration attempts, please shoot me a kite at the email addy over in the right sidebar and let me know so’s I can get ya fixed up manually.

ALSO NOTE: You MUST use a valid, legit email address in order to successfully register, the new anti-spam software I installed last night requires it. My thanks to Barry for all his help sorting this mess out last night.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site and may be deleted, ridiculed, maliciously edited for purposes of mockery, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. The CF comments section is pretty free-form and rough and tumble; tolerance level for rowdiness and misbehavior is fairly high here, but is NOT without limit.

Management is under no obligation whatever to allow the comments section to be taken over and ruined by trolls, Leftists, and/or other oxygen thieves, and will take any measures deemed necessary to prevent such. Conduct yourself with the merest modicum of decorum, courtesy, and respect and you'll be fine. Pick pointless squabbles with other commenters, fling provocative personal insults, issue threats, or annoy the host (me) and...you won't.

Should you find yourself sanctioned after running afoul of the CF comments policy as stated and feel you have been wronged, please download and complete the Butthurt Report form below in quadruplicate; retain one copy for your personal records and send the others to the email address posted in the right sidebar.

Please refrain from whining, sniveling, and/or bursting into tears and waving your chubby fists around in frustrated rage, lest you suffer an aneurysm or stroke unnecessarily. Your completed form will be reviewed and your complaint addressed whenever management feels like getting around to it. Thank you.
