The SEAL who took out Bin Laden now finds himself plagued with second thoughts.
Always wear a mask and keep your social distance. Unless we are all looting. Then we are good.

Good news: Based on the media, looting kills the Corona Virus.

Un. Believable. I cannot believe I fought to defend you.

That last one echoes something I’ve said many times here: if I were active-duty military, I would have to seriously ponder just what the hell it was I was actually laying my life on the line fighting for, since it so obviously ISN’T “freedom.” Several more of O’Neill’s heartfelt expressions of dismay and disgust are collected here.
I feel your frustration Mr. O’Neill. There are days when I can’t see a way out. Still, what you did was not for naught.
If not for America, then where?
The last bastion of sanity and Individual Liberty is still here in America.
There are tens of millions who still believe in it and want their children to live under it. Freedom is never Free.
Thank you for your fight to keep our Lights of Liberty still on. That flag that’s still there even though the bombs are bursting left and right.
To take a page from Churchill; We shall fight them in the Voting Box, we shall fight them in the Courts, we will fight the foreign enemies on the battlefield, we will fight them in the New Press that has once again given ordinary Americans a Voice, and by dint of your Courage, we will fight them in the streets of America if need be, so that we will know, in our hearts, that THIS was America’s Finest Hour. You did your part; Have faith that somehow we will find the fortitude we need to do ours.
I read that and think of my uncles that served full military careers, 3 of them*. They were part of the guard cleaning up the damn mess left in the wake of Vietnam. They did a helluva job. It’s not for nothing – I and my generation have lived lives reasonably free and free of fear. My children will get most of that. It’s the grandchildren I worry about.
*including my Dad, 4 more served, two in WW2 including my 16 year old father.
