For Mueller, for Uniparty sleazeweasels, for the Deep State itself. SAD!
A federal judge has rejected special counsel Robert Mueller’s request to delay the first court hearing in a criminal case charging three Russian companies and 13 Russian citizens with using social media and other means to foment strife among Americans in advance of the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
In a brief order Saturday evening, U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich offered no explanation for her decision to deny a request prosecutors made Friday to put off the scheduled Wednesday arraignment for Concord Management and Consulting, one of the three firms charged in the case.
Aw, come on, “Bulldog” Mueller, JUSTICE™ demands that we get these proceedings rolling! Let’s expose the truth for all to see, and let American jurisprudence fulfill its appointed duty!
The prosecution team sought the delay on the grounds that it’s unclear whether Concord Management formally accepted the court summons related to the case. Mueller’s prosecutors also revealed that they tried to deliver the summonses for Concord and IRA through the Russian government, without success.
“The [U.S.] government has attempted service of the summonses by delivering copies of them to the Office of the Prosecutor General of Russia, to be delivered to the defendants,” prosecutors wrote. “That office, however, declined to accept the summonses. The government has submitted service requests to the Russian government pursuant to a mutual legal assistance treaty. To the government’s knowledge, no further steps have been taken within Russia to effectuate service.”
Heavens to Betsy, such transparent hem-hawing and pussyfooting around. What possible legitimate purpose can be served by this sudden reticence, pray tell? Whatever could the reason be for such a thing?
The 13 people charged in the high-profile indictment in February are considered unlikely to ever appear in a U.S. court. The three businesses accused of facilitating the alleged Russian troll farm operation — the Internet Research Agency, Concord Management, and Concord Catering — were also expected to simply ignore the American criminal proceedings.
Last month, however, a pair of Washington-area lawyers suddenly surfaced in the case, notifying the court that they represent Concord Management. POLITICO reported at the time that the move appeared to be a bid to force Mueller’s team to turn over relevant evidence to the Russian firm and perhaps even to bait prosecutors into an embarrassing dismissal in order to avoid disclosing sensitive information.
Ah, there we are. “Sensitive information” such as, oh, the plain truth behind this circus: that the only ones guilty of “collusion” with Russia to manipulate the election were actually Obama, Hillary, Comey, Lynch, the FBI, and a whole clown-car full of other malefactors. Mike Walsh spells it out:
In other words, the American lawyers called Mueller’s bluff and he reacted by essentially saying, hey, wait a minute — just as he’s also requested a delay in sentencing Mike Flynn for “lying” to the FBI. Which leads one to believe that he’s got nothing; that Flynn’s dubious guilty plea will be reversed, and that even Manafort (whose head Mueller really wants on a pike) may have his charges thrown out.
A year later, it’s clear that the Swamp doesn’t want to be drained. And, from all the evidence we’ve seen so far — which is none — Robert Mueller is one of the chief swamp creatures. Mr. Straight Arrow sees his job as making sure that, despite Trump’s election, nothing whatsoever changes in the way Washington does business.
Pree-zackly. It would seem that even the dunce Mueller is beginning to perceive just how thin a plank his inept conniving has left him standing on. Meanwhile more and more red-pilled Americans are getting woke every day as to just how deep the Deep State rabbit hole goes, another portent of impending doom for them:
In any impeachment debate before Congress and the cameras of the world, not one but two narratives will be heard.
The first is that Trump colluded with the Russians to defeat Hillary Clinton and then sought to obstruct an investigation of his collusion.
The second is the story of how an FBI cabal went into the tank on an investigation of Clinton to save her campaign. Then it used the product of a Clinton-DNC dirt-diving operation, created by a British spy with Russian contacts, to attempt to destroy the Trump candidacy. Now, failing that, it’s looking to overthrow the elected president of the United States.
In short, the second narrative is that the “deep state” and its media auxiliaries are colluding to overturn the results of the 2016 election.
And has the added advantage of being, y’know, true. Should the Democrat Socialists somehow eke out a win in November and nab the impeachment booby-prize, their grubby, tarnished trophy isn’t likely to leave them smiling:
Trump needs to shift the struggle out of the legal arena, where Mueller and his men have superior weapons, and into the political arena, where he can bring his populous forces to bear in the decision as to his fate.
This is the terrain on which Trump can win — an us-vs-them fight, before Congress and country, where not only the alleged crimes of Trump are aired but also the actual crimes committed to destroy him and to overturn his victory.
Trump is a nationalist who puts America first both in trade and securing her frontiers against an historic invasion from the South. If he is overthrown, and the agenda for which America voted is trashed as well, it may be Middle America in the streets this time.
I think it will be. And damned well ought to be. The historically literate (if any) among Mueller’s Keystone Krew and his Progtard fan club would be well-advised to revisit Yamamoto’s words about sleeping giants filled with a terrible resolve.
