No Party for conservative men

March 11th, 2014

Been getting a lot of mileage out of the title of one of my favorite movies lately, I admit.

When the Tea Party started, it was a national movement of good people who were worried about the future of the country.

But today’s Tea Party has morphed into something far different. It has become a collection of wing-nuts, racists, hucksters, extremists, con-men and front-men, who collaborate with Hollywood and left-wing organizations to plot the demise of Republicans in good standing, Republicans such as Mitch McConnell, who is probably the most conservative leader of either party in the history of the Senate.

Gee, which “liberal” Democrat Socialist uttered that slander of liberty-minded Americans, I wonder?

Go on, guess.

At this point, I wouldn’t vote GOP if you held a gun to my head. And why should anybody concerned about our enforced drift away from Constitutional government do so? Cruz, Lee, and Gohmert aside, it’s clear they have no interest in your vote anyway, and don’t wish to be tainted by even the most tenuous association with you or your misguided ideals. They talk and talk and talk about their dedication to freedom and limited government when they think it’s useful to them…and that’s all. Which just makes them even bigger liars and frauds than the Democrat Socialists, who are now straight-up, out-and-proud Marxists.

To hell with them and their dying Party. Go peddle it someplace else, boys, there’s no market for it here.

Comments appear entirely at the whim of the guy who pays the bills for this site, and may be deleted, edited, ridiculed, or otherwise pissed over as he in his capricious fancy sees fit. Thank you.

There are three types of people: those that would rather be slaves, for the security; those that would rather be slave owners, for the power; and those that would rather be free, to follow their own ends. The last group is a danger to the first two for those that will find their own ends cannot be slaves and would refuse to be slaveholders; understanding, that if there be slaveholders then they too will be slaves.

The goal at this point is to drive all under the canopy of the government. All must seek shelter from every perceived and manufactured evil at the foot of the state. To act individually is to be an enemy of the state so an all powerful state strikes out at those that do. They do not strike out at all, or even most, individualists; to do so would make it obvious and drive the individualists into underground bands. Instead the state attacks randomly, capriciously. If an animal charges a herd they scatter but if he takes out one at a time alarm is avoided and all can be gotten.

Most of the people in America believe the socialist dogma of the thirties: that all can live in paradise if only wealth is distributed evenly; take from the rich and the poor will be no more. Those that would be free demand that this system does not and cannot work. They are wrong because they think the goal is paradise for all but the state knows the goal is not equality among the populace but control of the populace. Socialism has succeeded everywhere it's been implemented. It fails only when the sheep batter down the walls, but what of the coming time when there won't be walls to batter down?

Half the people of America have agreed to be slaves and the Left has agreed to be their owners.

Because of this Christie is a criminal because of some cones erected on one highway but it doesn't matter that Obama closed ALL public venues; because of this the genuine racism of the Democratic party is ignored as the Republican party is framed in a false narrative of racism; because of this Bush shredded the Constitution but Obama (the Left) is only doing what must be done... It will never end because the people of America want what the Left is bringing.

The two political parties are retail outlets seeking majority support. Because conservatives cannot provide a majority they are marginalized; because conservatives are made to be the lightning rod of evil by the Left they will be shunned as a partner in coalition. In this atmosphere conservatives have no party, no public representation and soon, no voice.

You just don't get it, they're smarter than you so you need to just support them.

The fact that you have a problem with being happy with $trillion deficits as far as the eye can see just shows that you don't understand your place.

I'm going back and forth between voting Libertarian or Green.

I'm not going to vote GOP because of who they keep nominating.

The only suspense for 2016 is if Jeb Bush gets the GOP or the Dem nomination.

Or both I guess, but even I think that's too much to hope for.

That WOULD go a long way towards clarifying things, eh V? For some people, at any rate.
