There is no virtue in engaging a SWAT team in your home, endangering your family for no good reason, and fighting a battle that you cannot win. If gun confiscations ever start, believe me when I tell you that they will never find me again – but they will see the results of my handiwork. They won’t know it’s from me, and they will never see it happen.

I agree with David. A SWAT team at your doorstep means they’re dictating the terms. Live to fight another day. Do it at a time and place of your choosing, not on their terms. And thus I see battling down a SWAT team at your doorstep as a fixture in the lone wolf paradigm. I don’t like the lone wolf paradigm. There are better ways to do this.

There are many ways to do it–better and worse–and I strongly suspect we’ll end up seeing most of them tried at one time or another before this is all over.

  1. Right now, this moment in history is so pivotal. I say this because at no other time in the history of the world could a disaffected rebel with a highschool diploma and a library card along with some ducktape and good-old American ingenuity assemble an armed radio-controlled drone. At no other time in history could any two-bit five-year old regime assemble a nuclear weapon. At no other time in history was is possible—and tomorrow it will be possible—for a computer printer to print a smallpox virus. Here’s what’s scary….we ain’t seen nothin’.

    That’s great, … unless they start the confiscations at his house while he’s on the shitter. Does SWAT give courtesy calls before they show up?

    I understand the term “lone wolf”, but not the idea of a lone wolf “paradigm”. Much less choosing a lone wolf paradigm. “Lone wolf” is not something to choose. It’s a lack of other options.

    I’ve tried to glean as much as I can from my near neighbors; but I hardly go door-to-door like a girl scout selling thin mints asking for signatures to be on my team for the upcoming guerrilla insurgency. Who’s NOT a “lone wolf” at this point?

The big weapon of the coming insurgency will be RC vehicles just think what an RC car or truck with some explosives taped to it can do to the best trained swat team on the planet while they’re still in the vehicle enroute to the destination. Getting them while bunched up is going to be a really big tactic and they do it so often.

  5. An insurgent has the ability to make a phone call and force the police go where he wants them. It don’t take much imagination to figure out how that could be used by those looking to misbehave.

  7. Others have said something similar; look at the ridiculously inept response of the LAPD from one guy who had tactical awareness. They freaked the hell out and showed the world how lousy their skills are and why so many have so little confidence in law enforcement. SWAT teams are a dangerous joke.

    The current flock of Sheeple don’t understand what they have and why it should be protected. Future generations will be even worse.

    I look at what passes for education and thought in young people, and I think to myself, “We are so screwed.”
