Prosser wins?

After Tuesday night’s Wisconsin Supreme Court election, a computer error in heavily Republican Waukesha County failed to send election results for the entire City of Brookfield to the Associated Press. The error, revealed today, would give incumbent Supreme Court Justice David Prosser a net 7,381 votes against his challenger, attorney Joanne Kloppenburg. On Wednesday, Kloppenburg declared victory after the AP reported she finished the election with a 204-vote lead, out of nearly 1.5 million votes cast.

Throughout the day Thursday, official canvass numbers flipped the lead back and forth between Prosser and Kloppenburg. While many believed a recount was inevitable, the addition of the Brookfield votes for Prosser could push the justice’s lead beyond the legal threshold that would trigger an automatic recount.

And beyond the margin of Democrat Socialist fraud, even after the thugs, criminals, and commies pulled out all the stops and made the thing a sort of national referendum-by-proxy on union/Democrat Socialist corruption and coercion. Gonna be, shall we say, interesting to see how they respond to this.

Update! Wider ramifications:

I’ve been banging on from the beginning that Wisconsin is a proving-ground for new forms of electoral weaponry, a kind of Spanish Civil War in which larger forces are fighting a proxy war before the big show next year. (Note to trolls: that is the extent of the analogy.) And as we all know around here, the Left never, ever gives up — especially not when their livelihood is threatened; sneering tenacity is just about their only admirable quality. So, by any means necessary, Gov. Scott Walker must be defeated, even if it means nakedly politicizing a supposedly “non-partisan” election in the hopes of overturning Walker’s mandate through the simple medium of a reliable 4–3 vote on the state supreme court.

Presto! Electoral nullification!

If the National Popular Vote end-run around the Electoral College is allowed to succeed, each member state eventually will be required to cast all its electoral votes for the winner of the national popular vote once enough states have joined to acquire a controlling majority, i.e. at least 270 votes, in the Electoral College. While apparently “fair,” this would mean in effect that the big urban centers would effectively control the country — and we all know how the major urban areas tend to vote. It’s all part of the ongoing leftist campaign to degrade the Founders’ concept of a union of sovereign states and replace it with a centralized federal leviathan. It’s so much easier to control the populace that way.

And THAT is the right name of the game here.

Suck on it, Lefties update! MKH, via AP: “Small, state-wide election with vital national implications soon to have no national implications whatsoever.” Yep, the baglapping liberal media will get busy spinning like hell by tomorrow on the real unimportance of the whole thing, and the Leftard OUTRAGE!!!!!!™ machine will swing into full foamy overdrive mode. It’s gonna be delicious to watch.

Ohhhh, yeah update! Suck the barbed cock of Satan, fat boy. You douchebags lost. As Mark Levin said a while ago: “We outnumber you. This is our country, not yours.” And you commie loser fucks better damned well gird your loins — because like it or not, we’re not going to let you take any more of it from us without a goddamned fight. Count on it.

Could it be update? Glenn says he’d be very surprised if they were this smart, and I’d have to say I would be too. Also completely delighted.

My suspicious, cynical side says that the Republicans delayed the full count to flush out any Democrat tricks. God bless ‘em, I hope they’re just that smart.

We can only hope. Either way, it’s a win for America tonight.

  1. This will be awesome if it holds up. As the usual trunk full of ballots or entire voting machines will turn up. But I’m enjoying it while I can.

  2. Sounds to me like Kathy(a demcrap) was doing a little vote holding there – just in case she needed a few extra votes to push her dead horse over the finish line. Unfortunately she in her cleverness she missed the fact that Wau county had voted 3-1 for Prosser.
Her disappointment was palpable in that room. Dems and their union buttbuddies are scouring the grave yards for unused names as the count continues.

  3. A good strategy.
    The Donks steal the election,
    Then we take it back.

The Donks habitually generate, using one mechanism or another, just enough votes to win. But here, after they produced their typical 200-vote margin, the ‘Pubbies dropped their reserves after all the Donk vote (ahem) counters went home.

They may have to stop calling us The Stupid Party if we’re gonna be this clever…

  4. But at the news conference with Nickolaus, Ramona Kitzinger, the Democrat on the Waukesha County Board of Canvassers, said: “We went over everything and made sure all the numbers jibed up and they did. Those numbers jibed up, and we’re satisfied they’re correct.”

As a Democrat, she said, “I’m not going to stand here and tell you something that’s not true.”
