“I know a place
Ain’t nobody cryin’
Ain’t nobody worried
Ain’t no smilin’ faces
Mmm, no no
Lyin’ to the races
Help me, come on, come on
Somebody, help me now
I’ll take you there”
“As such, Reverend Wright’s comments were not only wrong but divisive, divisive at a time when we need unity; racially charged at a time when we need to come together to solve a set of monumental problems…problems that are neither black or white or Latino or Asian, but rather problems that confront us all.”–Rip Van Churchsleeper
Today, I’d like to talk with you about the important role each of us will play in 2010.”
“Well–not each of us…”
“It will be up to each of you to make sure that the young people, African-Americans, Latinos, and women who powered our victory in 2008, stand together once again.”
“No Elderly, White, Irish Teabaggers or Jews Need Apply.”
Did you ever wonder why even as America elected a black president, the race card rhetoric has been ramped up to ten? Tea Partiers have been smeared, and the less evidence, the wilder the smear. ACORN sees a return to the Communist Witch-Hunts, Jim Crow and Japanese Internments, all rolled into one…only much worse!
That’s because the Divide and Conquer Democrats depend on racial polarization to stay in power.
If Democrats only garnered, say, only 60% of the black vote instead of 90%, say hello to President McCain. Hence the need for Democrats to keep Americans polarized. (This is also part of the Epidemic of Fake Hate Crimes, from “spitting” on congressmen to Tawana Brawley. We’ve made victimhood so glamorous, that some people are determined to be a victim even if they have to victimize themselves.)
So why Obama bringing up Immigration Reform now? Simply to stir up more racial turmoil in hopes of blunting the November tidal wave.
It has no hopes of passage. Under Bush, 16 Democrat senators didn’t vote for Reform for a couple of reasons; they didn’t want Bush to get credit with Latino voters. So much for “principle”.
But many didn’t vote for it because they knew it was so unpopular, it might cost them there jobs. So much for “principle” again. With massive unemployment, the government handing out expensive “free” health care and violence on the Border, it’s even less popular than ever.
Any president can have “Reform”. All he has to is really have Enforcement First. But Obama won’t do that, so there is no hope of passage. What they really want is a system where we chase illegals around at the border a little bit, and then give everybody a free pass. That way, Democrats can continue to build the Welfare State without having to cast an unpopular vote.
The president is the only elected official who is supposed to represent all the American people. Instead, we get a half a president, representing half the people with half-truths.
